SourceAWS Security Agent (now part of AWS Continuum) now supports budget controls and finding revalidation
This allows security teams and DevSecOps engineers to prevent unexpected costs and verify fixes without the expense of rerunning full tests.
- Allows setting a maximum task-hours limit on penetration tests using preset values (e.g. 20 or 30 hours), custom values, or no limit
- Tests stop gracefully and preserve all discovered findings upon reaching task limits
- Enables revalidating individual findings against live applications without running full penetration tests
- Returns Active or Resolved status with complete revalidation history linked to original findings
