Amazon Redshift has introduced rg.large and rg.12xlarge instance sizes in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) and (US-East) Regions.

The details
- RG instances are available on patch version P202 and later.
- Existing RA3 clusters can be upgraded to RG using Snapshot & Restore.
- The engine processes Apache Iceberg and Parquet data on cluster nodes.
